Position: Business Development Representative
ComDesign, a Communications Infrastructure firm specializing in Premise Cabling, design, installation, and documentation is seeking a Business Development Representative to work in a team environment as an inside sales position in our corporate offices in St Petersburg, Florida.
Role Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible to systematically prospecting and develop new customer opportunities within our existing Infrastructure Solutions Market and the emerging markets of IP Network Surveillance, VoIP Telephony, and other systems that are converging to the IP Platform.
The ideal candidate will be articulate, diligent, possess an insatiable appetite for learning and the ability to communicate credibility with more than just words. He or she will strategically identify, and develop qualified leads through telemarketing and publication/marketing lead development.
The following experience or background would be helpful but not required;
• Sales experience
• Knowledge of voice and data communication systems
• Experience with physical security products
• Experience with phone systems
• Law enforcement or military background
Role responsibilities:
• Engage in personal prospecting strategies to uncover new sales opportunities.
• Interact and communicate with and respond to existing Account Executive Team to identify and develop prospecting opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and internal departments.
• Meet or exceed established lead quota.
• Follow up with leads and referrals.
• Deliver concise, organized, comprehensive Business Development Planning.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and ACT.
