ComDesign has assisted BayCare Health Systems by installing a state-of-the-art cabling solution in their new data center located at Net Park in Tampa, Florida.
 
This new infrastructure consists of pre-terminated Corning MTP harnesses installed from the MDF to new POD locations for both SAN and network connections. The use of this pre-terminated technology facilitated the installation of large fiber counts while maintaining minimal density and conserving cabinet space for necessary equipment. This technology also saved on-site time terminating fiber optic connectors, allowing us to meet the short time frame and deliver factory-certified assemblies.

In addition to the fiber cabling, ComDesign installed over 7,000 Category 6 cables between cabinets in a high density format. This cabling was terminated with modular connectors and placed in angled 1U patch panels to conserve space.
