Florida Hospital

ComDesign supports various projects for Florida Hospital.

Florida Hospital Ginsburg Tower – ComDesign installed over 2,000 drops of Commscope Category 6 cable for Voice, Data, IP Video and Wireless Access Points throughout the 9th, 10th and 11th floors at the Ginsburg Tower in Orlando, FL. Each outlet consisted of either a single, a dual, a triple or a quad RJ45 design. All station cabling was terminated on Siemon Category 6 patch panels. ComDesign also installed multiple cable runs of RG6, 16/2 and Heliax 1/2” Coax for various CATV, Paging Speakers and DAS locations. Due to the nature of the project, many construction changes were required. ComDesign was able to meet all challenges and complete the project on time and meet the customer’s needs.

Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel – ComDesign installed a cabling system for all Voice, Data, Television cabling as well as Fiber Optic, Multi-pair Copper and 1/2 “ Hardline Coaxial Feeder cables. The cable plant consisted of a Category 6 CommScope Uniprise solution. A total of (2,274) Cat6 cables were installed. Project required the build-out of (11) telecommunication closets. Backbone cabling consisted of (288) strands of fiber for the primary path and (288) strands of fiber for the secondary path, copper backbone consisted of 575 pairs of copper. And a 1/2” hardline coax was installed to multiple closets, with a 138 RG-6 runs.
